Police investigate bullet fired into a Waterloo business

Waterloo regional police are investing after a bullet was fired into the lunchroom of a Waterloo business early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to the business located in the area of Kumpf Drive and Randall Drive after receiving a report of a bullet that was fired into the building just after 3 a.m.

Police said the bullet was fired through a window into the lunch room, where a 59-year-old male employee, had just left.

No other employees were present inside the lunchroom at the time of the shooting and there were no reports of any physical injuries.
