Police investigate Grand Prairie crash that killed pedestrian early Tuesday

Authorities are investigating a car crash that killed a pedestrian in Grand Prairie early Tuesday morning.

At around 5:45 a.m., multiple people reported seeing an adult woman walking onto the northbound Texas 360 service road near Ragland Road when a truck hit the pedestrian, Grand Prairie police said in a news release.

The woman was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.

Police do not expect to file criminal charges.

The crash is under investigation.
