From Met Gala Monday to New Music Friday, this week has been an eventful one in pop culture.

Stray Kids, Charli XCX, Camila Cabello, and Lil Nas X might have all been busy flocking to NYC for fashion's biggest night, but they also made sure music did not take a backseat scheduling new releases this week, all serving as appetizers of more to come.

Non Met Gala attendees are also delivering. Post Malone is fully entering his country era, Megan Thee Stallion is back with a song and visuals only she could craft, Gunna and Normani have joined forces once again, and Gen Z leading women Ice Spice and beabadoobee are ushering in new eras of their own with new singles. Also, SEVENTEEN is keeping the releases coming with a new unit video.

But why tell you if you can just listen and watch? Below, find the music videos for some of this week's new music releases.

Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen, “I Had Some Help”

Post Malone is on a collab strike. After jumping on Taylor Swift's “Fortnight” a few weeks ago, he's now the one inviting another artist to feature on his track. For his latest release, “I Had Some Help," Post Malone enlisted the help of former The Voice contestant Morgan Wallen to create a summer country pop number. The song is expected to be part of Post Malone's upcoming sixth studio album, the follow-up to 2023's Austin, which for now is commonly referred to as PM6.

Stray Kids feat. Charlie Puth, “Lose My Breath”

It's been quite the week for Stray Kids. The octet made history on Monday as the first K-pop group to attend the Met Gala with all members, and now they are rounding it up with the release “Lose My Breath,” a suave pop number with ‘90s boyband sensibilities. The all-English single is the first of many tracks we’ll get from the K-pop group, who are gearing up for the release of a new album in July. New songs for a new tour? Music to our ears.

Megan Thee Stallion, “BOA”

Megan Thee Stallion is back, and she's nerdier than ever. The proud anime aficionado has put out her new single, “BOA,” with videogame lore and visuals inspired by One Piece's Boa Hancock to boot. “BOA” is believed to be the third single from the singer's upcoming third studio album and continues the snake references of “Cobra” and “HISS.” Expect even more anime references in the album, as the rapper teased she had cleared a major sample ahead of the release of “BOA.”

Ice Spice, “Gimmie A Light”

After debuting the song during her Coachella sets, Ice Spice has finally released her new single, “Gimmie A Light," which samples Sean Paul's “Gimme the Light.” The song joins “Think U the Shit (Fart)" as Ice Spice's second single off her upcoming Y2K sophomore album, which she teased back in November 2023 with a tramp stamp tattoo.

RM, “Come back to me”

BTS member RM has released the first song off his upcoming album Right Place, Wrong Person, his third solo project following 2018's mono and 2022's Indigo, slated for May 24. “Come back to me” is an pared down track featuring virtually nothing but acoustic guitar strums and mellow whistles for the better falf of the track before introducing a funky twist with percussion and electric guitar. Save for one single line, the track is delivered in English.

Camila Cabello feat. Lil Nas X, “He Knows”

Camila Cabello and Lil Nas X had a good reason to be hanging out arm in arm at the Met Gala after parties. The two stars have linked up for a new collab, “He Knows.” Produced by Daniel Aged, El Guincho & Jasper Harris, “He Knows" features a skittering base, raunchy lyrics, and velvety vocals. The song will be part of Cabello's upcoming fourth studio album C,XOXO, slated for a June release.

SEVENTEEN, “LALALI”

SEVENTEEN put out their second anthology album, 17 Is Right Here, at the end of April. After unveiling the music video for group title track “MAESTRO” last month, the K-pop juggernauts are upping up the ante with the music video for the album's hip-hop unit track, “LALALI.”

Charli XCX, “360”

Rememeber when Charli XCX gathered every man on the planet for the “Boys” music video? Well, now she's done the same with women for “360," tapping Rachel Sennott, Gabbriette, Julia Fox, Chloe Cherry, Chloë Sevigny, Richie Shazam, Emma Chamberlain, Alex Consani, Hari Nef, and more. “360” is the fourth song she's unveiled off her forthcoming album Brat, which joins “Von Dutch,” “Club Classics,” and “B2B.”

Gunna feat. Normani, “$$$”

Last month, Gunna jumped on Normani's track “1:59” and now she's returning the favor featuring on “$$$,” off his new album One of Wun. Spanning 20 tracks in total, the album also features collaborations from Offset, Leon Bridges, and Roddy Ricch.

beabadoobee, “Take A Bite”

beabadoobee is tesign her upcoming album This Is How Tomorrow Moves with a new single “Take A Bite," produced by Rick Rubin and Jacob Bugden. In a press statement, beabadoobee shared that “Take A Bite" is “me feeling introspective about my thoughts and unhealthy way of living.” She added: “It's finding comfort in a familiar place – finding comfort in chaos, because that’s what I know. So, I bring it into every aspect of my life, especially with relationships. And it's just tapping into this part of my brain where I just jump straight to the most negative, most chaotic thought ever known to man and make and make that into my reality.”
