Queen joined by Charles and Camilla at opening of the Senedd

The Queen used a walking stick for the second time this week as she made her first visit to Wales in five years to attend the sixth ceremonial opening of the Senedd. She was joined on her visit to the Welsh Parliament in Cardiff by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall. The Queen made a speech in the Senedd chamber at the start of the ceremony where she praised the efforts of the people who worked to mitigate the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
