Fed pauses interest rate hikes but more likely
And then the Fed rested. After its sharpest flurry of interest rate hikes in four decades, the Federal Reserve held its key rate steady Wednesday but signaled two more increases are likely this year as officials continue to battle high inflation. That’s more projected hikes than financial markets and many economists anticipated. For now, the benchmark rate will remain at a range of 5% to 5.25% after a streak of 10 consecutive hikes. 📉 Will rates keep going up? We break it down.

Vegas Golden Knights score first Stanley Cup title
From the very start, Vegas Golden Knights owner Bill Foley's goal was to win a Stanley Cup by the team's sixth season. His dream came true on Tuesday night when the Golden Knights routed the Florida Panthers 9-3 to capture the franchise's first NHL championship.
