RCMP seek public's help in High River armed bank robbery

RCMP are asking for the public's help to find a man responsible for an armed robbery in High River on Friday.

At around 4:50 p.m., the High River RCMP responded to a report of an robbery at the Scotiabank on Third Avenue S.E. .

According to police, a lone male entered the bank and pulled what is believed to be a pistol before demanding money. He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as Caucasian in his mid-20s, between 168 cm to 183 cm tall and a thin red coloured goatee. The man was dressed in black pants, black toque, black ski gloves, black sunglasses and brown shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the High River RCMP at (403) 652-2357 or contact Crime Stoppers.
