Regina police investigating string of gunshots in North Central

Regina man faces charges after high-risk search warrant

A string of three gunshots has Regina police on the lookout in the city's North Central neighbourhood.

It started Saturday morning at about 3:40 a.m. CST when police were called to the 1200 block of Princess Street for a report that a gun had been fired.

In the residence where the gunshot happened, they found a projectile from the gun, according to an news release.

No one was injured in the shooting, but at 4:54 a.m., two police officers heard two more gun shots. The police station also received calls reporting the shots.

Police returned to the area to investigate, but couldn't find any victims, suspects, or damage from the shots fired.

As of Sunday morning, police don't know if the two events are related, but they are continuing to investigate them.
