Is 'The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy' Returning for a Season 3?

As season two of The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy airs on Apple TV+, we're already wondering if the show will be renewed for a third season.

There's no official update from Apple yet, but Eugene Levy tells T&C he would love to be back if they'd have him."I would love [a third season] because I'm having a ball doing the show," he says. "If it happens, it would be absolutely wonderful and if it doesn't, you move on."

Levy explains, "I really do love the show for a number of reasons. At this point in my life it's actually doing good things for me to just have the experience, just do it, and then decide, do you like it? Do I not like it? But you can't just make up your mind without having done it, you know? So that's a good thing for me."

For Levy, the highlight of the travel show isn't the travel, but rather, the people he's meeting on the road. "In every country, the most memorable aspect of every location are the people that I'm meeting and discovering their country through them. I'm really having a ball doing it," he says.

But ever the reluctant traveler, he hedges on his love for travel: "I'm really enjoying the experiences I'm having, for the most part."

Levy is quite busy in the next few months; it was just announced he would be a recurring character on the upcoming fourth season of Only Murders in the Building. However, it's unclear if that would impact any shooting schedule for The Reluctant Traveler season three; we'll update this as soon as we learn more.

In the meantime, we're off to plan trips to all the luxury hotels he stays at in season two.
