Rheinmetall's civil unit suffered cyberattack that cost $10 million
BERLIN (Reuters) - Rheinmetall's civil unit suffered a cyberattack in April last year that cost the German arms manufacturer 10 million euros ($10.80 million), Chief Financial Officer Dagmar Steinert said at the annual shareholders' meeting.
The group, which plays a major role in supplying arms to Ukraine, is exposed to many cyberattacks on a daily basis, Steinert said, adding that Rheinmetall is normally able to fend off most of them.
