Roxanne Fleming cold case re-opened in Lillooet 33 years later

Police are once again searching for Roxanne Fleming, who disappeared from Lillooet B.C. 33 years ago — when she was 18 years old.

"Now is as good a time as ever to get her picture out there and try and jog some memories of what may have happened to her," Const. Kris Clark told Daybreak Kamloops' Shelley Joyce.

Fleming was last seen checking herself into the Lillooet District Hospital with a broken finger in 1982.

"We're looking for anybody with any information that might lead to her discovery," said Clark.

Clark said Fleming's family is also hopeful for closure.

Fleming is described as five-feet four-inches tall, First Nations, with a slender build.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or to call local RCMP.
