LIZ LOZA: Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals featured no Giannis, no Trae Young, and a bunch of players whose jerseys barely sell, but in the end, Brook Lopez led Milwaukee past Atlanta 123 to 112 on Thursday night. Four of Milwaukee's starting five hit double figures in scoring, including a pair of double-doubles from Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday.

- It counts and the foul!

LIZ LOZA: Plus a team high 33 points courtesy of the aforementioned Brook Lopez, his first game scoring at least 30 points this season by the way. Go channel your inner David Bakhtiari and chug a beer my friend. Meanwhile, Bogdan Bogdanovic led the Hawks in scoring with 28 points, and Lemon Pepper Lou finished with 17. The Bucks will look to close out the Hawks on Saturday on the road. Hear this. If Atlanta loses, we all know where Lou Williams will be posting up in the off-season.

JERMAINE DUPRI: (SINGING) Magic city back looking like eighty--

LIZ LOZA: July 1 came and went while college athletes wasted no time making some coin off that NIL.

- Show me the money!

LIZ LOZA: Auburn quarterback Bo Nix teamed up with Milo's Tea company. That didn't go over very well with this Crimson Tide supporter, though. Alabama fans dislike Auburn so much that they decided to pour out all the tea. It seems a little ridiculous and a waste of money considering the Crimson Tide have won six national championships since 2009, but you know, Bama fans are just going to Bama.

- Sweet home Alabama.

LIZ LOZA: And for those of you who think it's just the starting QBs getting endorsement deals, check out these ladies from the Fresno State women's basketball team. The Cavinder twins, who are both star guards for the Bulldogs, signed an endorsement deal with Boost Mobile and were even featured on a billboard in Times Square. Way to kill it, ladies.

- Where you at?

LIZ LOZA: Meanwhile over in Provo, Utah, BYU sent a press release prohibiting its players from promoting the following products-- alcohol, tobacco, gambling, adult entertainment, and coffee. Yeah, coffee. Sorry, Cougars, none of that dumb Starbucks dough for you.

- Oh, dumb Starbucks!

LIZ LOZA: While college athletes are about to make a lot of money, the pro league handed down some fines on Thursday. The 49ers, Cowboys, and Jaguars were reportedly fined for OTA violations, plus good old Goodell and the NFL penalized the Washington Football Team $10 million as a result of the league's investigation into the team's workplace culture. For some perspective, football team owner Dan Snyder is worth $2.6 billion, so $10 mil to him is like getting a speeding ticket.
