Sabrina Carpenter Wore a Teeny Tiny Skirt Made Out of Blue Flowers to the Met Gala After-Party
Once again: Sabrina Carpenter is working late 'cause she's a singer. But she found some time to join her boyfriend Barry Keoghan (who was dressed as Oliver Twist meets Willy Wonka) on the Met Gala 2024 red carpet, and in case you missed it the vibes were very cute:
But we're here to discuss Sabrina's after-party look—a powdery blue mini-dress with a skirt made out of giant blue flowers. Which she paired with platform double-strapped Mary Janes!
That blue is a call back to the Oscar de la Renta gown Sabrina wore on the carpet—which had a similar-toned skirt:
Sabrina spoke about her look to Emma Chamberlain (who accurately called her a "beautiful fairy princess") on the red carpet, and chatted a bit about the color: "This is custom Oscar de la Renta," she said. "I feel so lucky Fernando was so incredible in helping us design this dress, that pulls a lot from the story Garden of Time, but also just in general a lot of my favorite things. Like this color blue, it's very in theme with my life. So I love it."
