Selena Gomez Announces Community Call for Rare Beauty

As if we weren't excited enough about the upcoming launch of Selena Gomez's cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty, the brand has just announced every Selena stan has a chance to be a part of it, too!

Earlier today, February 27, Rare Beauty took to Instagram to launch its first community call for its upcoming launch campaign. The brand is asking fans who live in the United States to submit applications explaining what makes them “rare” for the chance to be featured in the Rare Beauty's first community campaign.

From today through March 1, those who qualify can submit their entries on rarebeauty.com. Alongside the applications, fans are also asked to include their Sephora Color IQ as well as their Instagram handle. "Rare Beauty celebrates individualism and highlights what makes each of us unique," a press email for the announcement read. "Rare Beauty aims to find beauty in what society considers 'imperfect' and build a community that shapes conversations around beauty, self-acceptance, and mental health."

"It’s all about celebrating what makes you, you; and we would love your voice to be a part of the story," the brand wrote in the Instagram announcement. Those chosen will be informed on March 9 and the campaign will be shot in Los Angeles shortly after.

If chosen, the new community members of Rare Beauty will not only be featured in the upcoming campaign but also will be able to test products from the line before anyone else. Who doesn't love premium early access? If the comment section on the Instagram announcement is any indication, one thing very clear: Rare Beauty is about to receive a ton of submissions! Time to go prep ours!
