Selena Gomez Debuts Long Hair Transformation on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' — See the Glamorous New Look!

Selena Gomez just got a major hair makeover.

During a Wednesday, June 26, appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the 31-year-old singer and actress debuted a new, ultra-long style thanks to hair extensions by Great Lengths. In conversation with her Only Murders in the Building costar Martin Short (who was serving as guest host), Gomez showed off her newly long hair, which was parted to the side and styled into a sleek blowout.

Her glamorous hairstyle perfectly complemented her chic black Versace dress. The partially sheer ensemble featured gold buttons, a white collar and white cuffs. She accessorized with black pumps and over $30,000 worth of gems from Simon G Jewelry. The star wore dangling diamond earrings and an array of chunky diamond bands.

Gomez's makeup look, which was presumably courtesy of her brand, Rare Beauty, included winged eyeliner, glittery eye shadow and a rosy lip color. In a hilarious moment during the segment, the actress got to flex her beauty skills by giving Short a mini makeover using Rare Beauty products.

The star had previously been rocking medium-length locks for a while, occasionally experimenting with various lengths. Gomez oozed elegance at the Cannes Film Festival last month, where she sported both retro waves and a sleek ponytail.

For a photocall for her film Emilia Pérez on May 19, the star wore a custom red off-the-shoulder Giambattista Valli Haute Couture ruffled silk dress with silk organza roses across the décolletage and an A-line mid-length skirt. She complemented the look with red Christian Louboutin heels, matching nails and bouncy, retro-inspired waves.

At the film's premiere the day prior, Gomez stunned in a black velvet gown with white bardot sleeves by Saint Laurent. She accessorized her look with a Diamond Swan Bulgari necklace, various rings and Santoni heels, her hair styled inot a sleek ponytail with face-framing strands.

At the Time100 Summit in April, the star's effortless shoulder-length blowout perfectly complemented her cool-girl ensemble. Gomez appeared at the New York City event in an oversize black leather jacket and a black dress with a leather corset bodice, accessorizing with open-toe black pumps, black cat-eye Linda Farrow sunnies and subtle jewelry by Stephanie Gottlieb Fine Jewelry.

In March 2024, Gomez showed off a shoulder-grazing style in a casual mirror selfie shared to her Instagram Stories. In the photo, she sat on the edge of a bed barefoot, posing in a white tank top and jeans, her brunette bob flipping out at the ends.
