#Sens vs. #Habs: 10 tweets that sum up Game 2 for Ottawa
After two days of debate and speculation, Mark Stone played in Game 2 for the Ottawa Senators, as did Max Pacioretty for the Montreal Canadiens.
Stone suffered a microfracture of his right wrist after a slash from P.K. Subban, while Pacioretty had an upper-body injury suffered late in the season.
Meanwhile, the P.K. Subban lumberjack jokes continued after the slash.
During Game 2, cameras caught a glimpse of how Stone is protecting that injured wrist.
Nevertheless, he picked up an assist on the first goal of the game, a nice shot from Senators forward Clarke MacArthur.
Montreal dominated the second period, including a goal by the much-maligned P.K. Subban, and took a 2-1 lead. Sens fans, as you could assume, weren't too happy.
In the third period, the Sens needed a big goal to tie the game. Again, Stone was involved as he set up Patrick Wiercioch.
Game 2 headed to overtime and …
The game-winning goal came early in the extra period, after an Eric Gryba giveaway, Alex Galchenyuk gave the Canadiens a 2-0 series lead.
The series returns to Ottawa for Game 3 on Sunday. Sens fans, including players on the Ottawa Redblacks, remained positive.
