Downtown shooting puts 3 men in hospital
Three men are in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a downtown shooting, police said.
Police were called about shots fired near 109th Street from Jasper Avenue to 103rd Avenue at around 2:30 this morning.
There are no suspects at this time.
Police originally closed off 109th Street completely at Jasper Avenue, but re-opened the road by 8:30 a.m.
Meanwhile another man is in hospital recovering from gunshot wounds to his arm and chest after a shooting in the west end Thursday night.
Police said the man was walking near a convenience store when someone inside a passing vehicle shot him.
It's believed the man knew his shooter.
The victim made his way to the convenience store at 172nd Street and 95th Avenue for help.
