Siksika's Cody Blackkettle, Troy Prettyyoungman, Tiffany Panther Bone ID'd as fire victims

The families of three young parents who died in a fatal house fire on Siksika First Nation plan to gather in their honour Sunday night.

The bodies of Cody Blackkettle, 28, Troy Prettyyoungman, 28, and Tiffany Panther Bone, 25, were found in the bedrooms of a home on the reserve Saturday morning.

The house was completely engulfed in flames when firefighters from Siksika fire department, as well as the neighbouring Cluney department, arrived.

All three victims leave behind young children.

The families of the three have planned a candlelight vigil Sunday.

Fire investigators believe the three died of smoke inhalation and that, at this point, the cause of the blaze does not appear to be suspicious. The house did not have working smoke detectors.
