Will Smith will debut a new original song at this year’s BET Awards, the network announced Monday.
Early in his career, Smith released four studio albums, with his most recent debuting in 2005. In December, he reunited with DJ Jazzy Jeff — his former music collaborator and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air co-star — in A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop. Smith currently stars opposite Martin Lawrence in Bad Boys: Ride or Die — the fourth film in the buddy cop comedy franchise — which hit theaters June 7.
