A 29-year-old stalker has admitted in court that she broke into Harry Styles' North London home, breaking a restraining order he had against her by doing so.

Pablo-Diana Orero Tarazaga – who is a Spanish national – had been barred from going within 250m of the singer after being found guilty of stalking him in 2019. But earlier this year, on 16 February, she broke into his North London home whilst he was there, and allegedly pushed a female staff member into a wall before damaging a plant pot during an altercation with one of Styles' security guards.

On 23 June, Tarazaga appeared at London’s Wood Green Crown Court and pleaded guilty to breaching the restraining order. But, she denied the further charges of common assault, damaging property (the plant pot) and using violence to secure entry to the premises.

"I declare myself guilty for breaching the restraining order and entering the house but not guilty to the assault," the 29-year-old defendant – who is currently being held in a hospital – said.

Previously, in 2019, Tarazaga had been banned from contacting the Watermelon Sugar singer directly or indirectly by posting about him on social media. She was also ordered to stay at least 250 metres away from Styles, his home and business addresses, and she was barred from attending any concert or event where he was due to perform.

And earlier this year she appeared in court once again after being caught breaching the restraining order by "turning up at the victim’s house". According to reports, she reportedly "screamed and talked incoherently throughout the hearing, at one point throwing herself to the floor." After repeatedly shouting – "I’m not going to hurt him. I love him" – Tarazaga was removed from the court and taken down to the cells.

Speaking to the court from behind a screen, 28-year-old Styles explained how the ordeal began after he spotted Tarazaga sleeping rough at a bus stop near his home and offered her money to stay in a hotel.

"I thought it was sad that someone so young, that anyone, was sleeping rough at the bus stop when it was cold. I felt sorry for [her]," he said. "That evening I pulled up in my car next to the bus stop and I offered [her] some money so that [she] could get a hotel or some food."

As for how the ordeal has impacted him, the former One Direction singer said he's been left feeling "very vulnerable" and "scared".

A trial date has been set for 1 August.
