Still no word on Salmon Festival 2015 headliner
There's no word out of Grand Falls-Windsor about who will be headlining this year's Salmon Festival.
Mayor Al Hawkins said last week an announcement about the act would likely be coming on Monday.
Meanwhile, tickets for a festival in St. John's that same weekend go on sale Thursday morning.
The Confederation Hill Music Fest was announced last week, with Rod Stewart and Blue Rodeo performing, and other acts still to come.
Some people said they wanted to see who will be part of the lineup for Salmon Fest this year before deciding which festival they would buy tickets for.
Some of the rumoured acts for Salmon Fest include John Fogerty, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Garth Brooks.
