Strictly Come Dancing's Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin have announced a new show together, reuniting to dance for what they claimed will be their last time as a duo.

The pair, who finished as joint runners-up in last year's series of Strictly, have announced two show dates set for the summer.

"We're BACK!" Layton wrote on Instagram today (April 17). "Absolutely buzzing to be reunited in Manchester & London for 2 shows ONLY!! Come watch us dance together for the final time... Can't waittttt. Who's coming?"

The dates are Sunday, June 30 at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall and Tuesday, July 16 at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane in London.

Layton also revealed that there's a pre-sale taking place tomorrow (April 18) if you sign up via this link, while general sale tickets will be available from Friday (April 19).

The first date is just a few weeks after the conclusion of the 'Strictly Come Dancing: The Professionals tour', which begins on May 1 and wraps up on June 1.

The cast of professional dancers united this week in preparation for the show, with Dianne Buswell sharing photos of the dancers getting their photos done and generally messing around.

As well as all the dancing-related projects, Layton recently appeared in the fifth season of Bad Education, continuing the storyline of his character Stephen Carmichael now working as a teacher at his old school.

One thing he won't be doing is providing narration for BBC Three's I Kissed a Girl though, the spin-off/follow-up to the show he previously narrated, I Kissed a Boy.

"I will not be voicing that one because I'm not a lesbian, but I just want to say I'm so proud to have been part of this beautiful show," he explained to The Sun.
