Student wears same shirt for 7 years on school picture day
Picking out an outfit for school picture day is an important part of any student’s academic career because it involves a decision you’ll have to live with for years to come.
So why not just take the guesswork out of the whole equation, pick out a favourite shirt and just stick with it through the years?
That seems to be what Justin Taylor decided to do way back in sixth grade when he first laid eyes on a navy blue T-shirt from surf apparel company Billabong. Taylor is an adult now and he recently took to Twitter to display his collection of old school photos that featured his unwavering dedication to the shirt through the years.
So from 6th to 12th grade i wore the same shirt in every school photo. My parents weren't fans. I thought it was pretty hilarious. pic.twitter.com/2iL6Hc80ln

“So from 6th to 12th grade I wore the same shirt in every school photo,” Taylor writes on Twitter in a post accompanied by his photos. “My parents weren’t fans. I thought it was pretty hilarious.”
And sure enough, even though his age and appearance may have changed over time, Taylor can be seen continuing to rep his preferred outfit in every school photo through his teenage years.
Taylor’s Twitter post has gone viral since it was posted Monday, attracting thousands of likes and retweets from users obviously impressed with his fashion-forward thinking at such a young age.
what an amazing decision for a 7th grader to make

I don't know what is more impressive: the commitment or the fact that you fit the same shirt? haha???? ????

Taylor’s clothing brand loyalty also earned himself a special shoutout from Billabong’s official Twitter account. The company thanked him for his “commitment through the years.”

And it appears the T-shirt is still holding up pretty well. Taylor took a photo with the now-worn shirt on to let the world know it still fits his frame.
