Suits: LA casts Victoria Justice in new role
Suits: LA has announced Victoria Justice for its cast, alongside fellow newcomers John Amos and Kevin Weisman.
News of the trio's casting comes via Deadline, which reports that Zoey 101 actor Justice will play an "ambitious" young movie star named Dylan Pryor; looking to be represented by the Suits spin-off's main character Ted Black (Stephen Amell).
Roots icon Amos is onboard as a fictionalised version of himself, while Better Call Saul's Weisman has signed on to portray the "smart and powerful" Lester Thompson, who is dealing with a murder charge.

With production on Suits: LA now underway, here's the official synopsis: "[Ted's] firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.
"Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while events from years ago slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved."
Ted is an ex-federal prosecutor now working in Los Angeles after ditching his New York practice.

Last month, One Tree Hill favourite Bryan Greenberg was confirmed for the show too, playing Ted's underling Rick Dodsen, who works in the entertainment division of Black Lane Law.
He is slated for a promotion and is determined to stay ahead of his rival, Erica Rollins (Lex Scott Davis).
Alongside Ricky Stanicky's Davis will be The Walking Dead's Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Troy Winbush as Kevin, and Alice Lee and Leah.
Suits: LA will air on NBC, while the original series is now streaming on Netflix.
