Taloyoak man dies after snowmobile crash

A Taloyoak, Nunavut, man has died in hospital following a snowmobile crash on Monday.

Taloyoak RCMP responded to a single snowmobile accident in the community at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Two people were injured and both were taken to the community's Health Centre.

One man was medevaced to Edmonton for further treatment and died from his injuries Wednesday evening.

RCMP are not releasing the man's name.

Police are investigating the incident along with Nunavut's Office of the Coroner.
