I'm Seriously Laughing At How The Internet Is Reacting To Team USA Bringing Their Own Air Conditioners To The Olympics
The Olympics start in just a few weeks, and they're being held in Paris during, well, obviously, the middle of the summer.
That means, unfortunately, no AC. The French are notoriously against it.

The French didn't install air conditioners for environmental reasons because they want this to be "the greenest games ever." They're aiming to keep the temperature in rooms between 73 and 79 degrees.
But don't fret, the US isn't going to be airconditioner-less stuck in musty 70-degree rooms!
The AP is reporting that team USA will bring their own AC units to the games.

The CEO of the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Sarah Hirshland, said, "As you can imagine, this is a period of time in which consistency and predictability is critical for Team USA’s performance."
"In our conversations with athletes, this was a very high priority and something that the athletes felt was a critical component in their performance capability," she continued.
The reaction to this whole thing has been very, very funny.
