This picture of a dog riding a horse will make you feel better about everything
Talk about travelling in style.
This is the amazing moment a tiny dog was spotted casually riding a horse down a country lane.
The bizarre sight was captured by Richard Ward, 20, on the outskirts of Exeter, Devon last week.
He said: “The dog was just chilling on the horse, having a look around like it was a totally normal thing to be doing.
“You never see a dog on a horse. I had to get a picture.
“The horse was acting completely normally, like it was just carrying a person on its back.”
Richard was on the way to work with colleague Dean Brown when the pair saw a group of horses in the road ahead of them.
The animals were being headed by a woman wearing riding gear and an eyepatch.
But it was only as they began to pass that they noticed the four-legged riding companions.

Ward added: “One of the horses was being ridden by a woman who was wearing an eyepatch.
“And then, just behind her, was just this dog on a horse. They just walked right past us, this woman with an eyepatch and a dog on a horse.
“I’ve never seen anything like it, we couldn’t believe it. Dean and I just couldn’t stop laughing. We were in complete hysterics for about five minutes.”
Ward said that the pair looked so composed it can’t have been their first time.
“We don’t go around that area very often, but I reckon if you did then you might see them doing that quite a bit,” he said.
“It just looked like it was really normal with them.”
