Tom Felton Has a TikTok, and It’s the Best Thing to Happen to Harry Potter This Year
These days it's hard for Potterheads to enjoy their own fandom—ya know, with J.K. Rowling's recent comments about trans people. But one thing is sustaining us: Tom Felton's TikTok.
Who knew Draco Malfoy would be the one to save the Harry Potter franchise? The 33-year-old actor joined TikTok in July, immediately hitting it out of the park by attempting to stop the rain outside his home using his wand from the movies. “Just give me a few tries, it's been a while,” he says in the video. Felton did take a break from posting new Harry Potter–related videos to share music, old behind-the-scenes footage, and a lot of Hamilton content. But by October, Felton started embracing his duty as the true ambassador of the Harry Potter franchise. Please watch his perfect reaction to one Draco Malfoy fan video.
It gets better. In another video, he encourages a young artist to sell her painting of his face. Draco Malfoy really said get your bag up! (The painting is of a different fictional Felton character, but this still counts; leave me alone.)

Others have been pointing out other plot lapses and lack of representation in the Harry Potter universe by portraying themselves as students.
Draco Malfoy may be a Slytherin, but Tom Felton is clearly pure Gryffindor. Thank you, Tom, for getting a TikTok. The world desperately needed it!
