Elmer “Gene” Eugene Ayers, 78, of Kennewick, died March 24 in Kennewick.
He was born in Yakima and lived in the Tri-Cities for 48 years.
He was a retired pipefitter.

Carol Ann Preston, 80, of Kennewick, died March 24.
She was born in Great Falls, Mont., and lived in the Tri-Cities area since 1982.
She was a homemaker and retired sales clerk.

He was born in Heber Springs, Ark., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1973.
