Based on the Marvel character, the series follows the titular Monkey (Fred Tatasciore), a Japanese macaque who is mentored by the ghost of an American assassin named Bryce (Jason Sudeikis) and takes on Tokyo’s criminal underworld after being wronged.
Milioti will portray Iris, who grew up never wanting to be like her father Bryce. But when fate brings them together, she’ll come to realize how similar they are as the duo moves toward a final reconciliation.
Upcoming episodes, debuting Monday, July 15, find Monkey traveling with Bryce from Japan to New York.
