Two teens arrested in Dunnville drug bust
Two teenagers were among a trio arrested for drug trafficking in Dunnville last week.
Officers from the OPP’s street crime unit stopped a car on Broad Street on May 23 and arrested the three people inside as part of a drug trafficking investigation police say started earlier this spring.
Armed with a search warrant, officers then seized suspected fentanyl, cocaine, prohibited weapons, cash and drug paraphernalia from a house on Main Street.
The suspects — a 15-year-old from Scarborough, a 17-year-old from Brantford and a 38-year-old Dunnville woman — each face two counts of drug possession for the purposes of trafficking.
The teens are also charged with possession of property obtained by crime, with the 17-year-old facing an additional weapons charge.
The accused will appear in court in Cayuga.
