UK coronavirus LIVE: Tracing app issues continue as Sadiq Khan calls for urgent action to control Covid in London
Issues with England's tracing app continue with people only being able to log positive - and not negative - test results into the system.
It comes as Mayor Sadiq Khan calls on the Government for "immediate action" as London residents were put on standby when the capital's boroughs were added to the UK's Covid-19 "watch list".
Meanwhile, sixteen people were arrested and nice police officers were injured as thousands of protesters packed Trafalgar Square as part of a demonstration against Government lockdown measures.
In other news, the number of coronavirus cases in the UK has risen by more than 6,000 for the fourth day running as a further 34 died after testing positive for the disease.
