In Donetsk Oblast, enemy artillery and air strikes targeted seven settlements near Kramatorsk.

Russian attempted advances towards Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, and Maiorsk were halted by Ukrainian forces, while surrounding towns remained under fire from enemy artillery and air force, the General Staff said.

Ukrainian positions held against a series of minor enemy attempted assaults on Avdiyivka, Krasnohorivka, and a handful of nearby villages.

In southern Ukraine, a tactical Russian advance towards Potyomkine – north-east of occupied Kherson – was repelled, with a dozen Ukrainian settlements along the frontline remaining under enemy artillery fire.

Several Russian warships, armed with long-range Kalibr cruise missiles, remain stationed in the Black Sea, the General Staff added.
