UTA Signs Comedian & Writer Leo Reich
EXCLUSIVE: UTA has signed comedian, writer and actor Leo Reich (Too Much) for representation in all areas.
Reich is perhaps best known for his debut live show Literally Who Cares?!, a New York Times Critics’ Pick, which earned him nominations for Best Newcomer at the Dave Comedy Awards, and Most Outstanding Show at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Buzz around the show culminated in a sold-out performance at the London theatre EartH Hackney, which was filmed as an HBO special by A24.

Currently, Reich is filming a role alongside Megan Stalter, Will Sharpe and more in Netflix’s romantic comedy series Too Much from Girls creator Lena Dunham and husband Luis Felber. The show follows Jessica (Stalter), a New York workaholic in her mid-30s who, reeling from a broken relationship that she thought would last forever, is slowly isolating from everyone she knows. With every block in New York telling a story of her own bad behavior, the only solution is to take a job in London, where she plans to live a life of solitude like a Brontë sister. But when she meets Felix (Sharpe) — who is less Hugh Grant in Notting Hill and more Hugh Grant’s drunken roommate — she finds that their unusual connection is impossible to ignore, even as it creates more problems than it solves.
Past screen credits for Reich include Friday Night Live, Late Night Mash, Comedy Central Live, and Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club. He will continue to be represented by Individual Artist Management and Tapestry London.
