Vanessa Hudgens Is a Mom! Actress Welcomes First Baby with MLB Husband Cole Tucker: Reports

Vanessa Hudgens has finally found what she's been looking for.

The High School Musical alum, 35, welcomed her first baby with her MLB player husband Cole Tucker, according to multiple outlets. TMZ was first to report the birth.

Reps for Hudgens did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

The child's birthdate, sex and name are not known. Hudgens and Tucker were seen leaving a Santa Monica hospital on Wednesday, July 3, which also happened to be Tucker's 28th birthday.

Earlier in the day, Hudgens posted a birthday tribute to her husband on Instagram.

"Happy birthday to my slice of heaven," she wrote on the post, which featured photos of the couple and Tucker and their dog. "You make the world a brighter place just by being you."

Hudgens revealed her pregnancy in style, debuting her baby bump on the 2024 Oscars red carpet back in March. The actress attended the Hollywood event in a black long-sleeved, floor-length dress that showcased her belly.

As she posed for photos and did interviews on the carpet, the expectant mom cradled her bump with her hands. She smiled as she fielded congratulations from people.

In December 2023, Hudgens and Tucker tied the knot in a jungle wedding in Tulum, Mexico. The star shared exclusive photos and details of her private "I dos" in an interview with Vogue.

“[Writing my own vows] was important to me,” Hudgens told Vogue. “I would also say to everyone: Write your own vows and read them. It is the most beautiful thing ever in a relationship to be that open and vulnerable and raw in front of all of the people you love proclaiming your love. It’s just beautiful. I loved it.”

Since announcing her pregnancy, Hudgens has shared several photos of her maternity style on her Instagram, including a photo on her Instagram where the actress posed in a long, white knit dress that highlighted her baby bump.

Accessorizing with the Kurt Geiger Mini Denim Kensington Bag and an oxblood red lip, the star held her hands under her stomach for one photo. "Mother’s Day is around the corner. Make sure you treat all the hardworking Mommas out there!" she wrote in the caption.

Later in May, Hudgens shared a sweet photo of herself and her husband Tucker on Instagram as they posed together on a baseball diamond.

Wearing a white body con dress and a white Los Angeles Angels hat, Hudgens smiled as she put an arm around Tucker, who posed in his uniform.

The professional baseball shortstop and outfielder wore his jersey and hat, smiling for the camera. " 'You can call it faith, you can call it angels, you can call it whatever you want' 😉," Hudgens wrote in her caption, quoting 1994's Angels in the Outfield.
