Autumn Snow Falls in Michigan Ski Resort Town

The season’s first snow fell in the ski resort town of Ironwood, on Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, on Friday, October 2, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS reported about 0.6 inches of snow accumulating in the region as of Friday morning. A mixture of rain and snow was forecast to continue into the evening.
