Early October Snow Falls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula

The season’s first snow fell in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on Friday, October 2, the National Weather Service (NWS) said.

The NWS reported about 0.6 inches of snow accumulating in the region as of Friday morning. A mixture of rain and snow was forecast to continue into the evening.
