Hershey Bears Hockey Team Breaks World Record With Epic Teddy Bear Toss

Fans at the Hershey Bears’ hockey game on December 2 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, helped the team break a world record with an epic teddy bear toss after the team beat New York rival Binghamton 6-3.

Ali Lanyon shared a video on Twitter of fans showering the arena with thousands of bears onto the ice after the win. More than 34,000 were tossed, shattering the previous world record of 28,000. The stuffed animals thrown onto the ice were to be donated to local charities. Credit: Ali Lanyon via Storyful
