Stunning Natural Ice Sculptures Spotted at Port Stanley Pier Following Winter Storm
A photographer captured stunning footage of the aftermath of an intense winter storm in Ontario, Canada on Christmas Day.
Footage taken by Ann Maurie Stevens shows giant ice sculptures around a gate and lampposts along Port Stanley pier. Stevens believes the sculptures are the result of strong wind and rain, as well as heavy, blowing snow in the area.
A significant weather outlook was issued by Environment Canada for Ontario on December 25, with strong winds and heavy snow squalls affecting the state.
“I’ve lived here all my life as a sunrise photographer, and I’ve never experienced anything of this degree,” Stevens said. Credit: Ann Maurie Stevens via Storyful
