Prime Minister of Canada and media darling Justin Trudeau continues to make headlines as the one of the world’s most charismatic leaders.
Trudeau got some attention on Halloween for dressing up as Clark Kent and exposing himself as Superman on his way to question period, reaffirming his reputation as the ‘nice guy’ who is coming to save the day.
A recent poll by Angus Reid found that half of the Canadian respondents describe Trudeau and charismatic. When asked about Trudeau’s public appearances and media coverage, the majority of respondents were neutral – they neither supported nor condemned his popularity in the media. That being said, the poll also found that 44 per cent of respondents believes that the Liberal government is putting too much emphasis on PR opportunities rather than making significant progress on key parliamentary priorities for the country.
