‘Wahlburgers’ Creates a Fake Holiday so Mark Wahlberg Can Join Them

On Wednesday’s season finale of Wahlburgers, the family wanted to celebrate the holidays with Mark Wahlberg but could not, due to his schedule. So they combined Thanksgiving and Christmas to form “Thanxmas” and celebrated when he was in town.

Thanxmas comprised the best parts of each holiday: a big turkey dinner and gift giving. Paul cooked a huge meal for the family. They all said what they were thankful for, and Mark teared up, expressing gratitude for his good fortune and his loving family.

Sadly, Donnie was not able to attend Thanxmas, but he was able to give his brother, Mark, two-pound weights as a gift. Donnie also dressed up like Santa Claus and gave a fan tickets to a New Kids on the Block concert. He said, “Merry Christmas. Merry Thanxmas. Merry Thanxmas-oween.”

Wahlburgers airs Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m. on A&E.
