Warm but windy day blows into southern Manitoba

The sun is back but the wind could be the story on Thursday in southern Manitoba.

Temperatures across the south will generally be about 26 C or 27 C but the wind will gust to 50 km/h in Winnipeg, and about 60 km/h in Brandon.

CBC meteorologist John Sauder expects a lot of sunshine to start the day but the afternoon will be partly cloudy, in a line from the Dauphin area down to the southeast corner of the province. There will also be a few showers across the north but not nearly the deluge seen on Tuesday and Wednesday.
