Beastie Boys Broadcast Final Concert Online for a Weekend

Beastie Boys’ last-ever set—a headlining performance at Bonnaroo in 2009—was released in its entirety. The show was originally aired as part of the Tennessee festival’s “Virtual ROO-ALITY” streaming event on YouTube, and the group made it available “through the weekend.” It’s unclear if the group will broadcast the show again.

Beastie Boys brought their 1995 punk EP Aglio e Oglio to digital streaming platforms earlier this month. They’re set to release the greatest hits compilation Beastie Boys Music October 23, intended as a complement to the 2020 Spike Jonze–helmed documentary film Beastie Boys Story and 2018’s Beastie Boys Book.
