Ana Navarro and Sara Haines literally probed Goldberg with their lightsabers at the Hot Topics table.

A battle of the stars descended on The View on Monday morning as Star Trek met Star Wars amid a literal intergalactic lightsaber probe into Whoopi Goldberg's shirt at the Hot Topics table.

In celebration of interview guest Jodie Turner-Smith's role in the upcoming Star Wars franchise TV series The Acolyte, the cohosts collectively unsheathed individual lightsabers while seated at the table, with Sara Haines and Ana Navarro using their new space powers for mischief as Goldberg attempted to throw the program to commercial.

"Our thanks to Jodie Turner-Smith. I swear to God," Goldberg said, laughing as her colleagues swished their lightsabers — which sounded off with the signature swish, as heard in the Star Wars films — through the air. "You know, that's the sound I make when y'all mess with me!"

As Goldberg teed up an ad break, Haines and Navarro poked their lightsabers into the Oscar-winning actress' shot, as she giggled when one of the toys lifted the corner of her button-up shirt to reveal a black top underneath.

Goldberg persisted, delivering her sendoff despite lightsaber assault coming at her from two different positions at the table — though she did tell the audience that they were all getting gift cards so they could get their "own lifesaver." Close enough.

The 68-year-old Hollywood icon has yet to attach herself to a Star Wars project, though she's famously portrayed the character Guinan across several different projects in the Star Trek universe.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
