With just a week to go until the general election, Yahoo readers have had their say on who they intend to choose when Britain votes.

UK voters will be heading to the ballot boxes on Thursday 4 July to cast their votes, and if the predictions are anything to go by, then the Labour Party will win by a landslide.

Last week a poll from research company Focaldata predicted a 250-seat majority for Sir Keir Starmer's party, with a total of 450 seats. Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak's Conservative Party is on track to lose 262 seats, leaving it with just 110 left, which would be one of its worst-ever defeats.

However, Yahoo readers have backed Nigel Farage's Reform UK by a significant number.

It comes after Focaldata data showed that Reform UK would win one seat, but YouGov pollster Patrick English suggested in early June that the party could secure as many as four seats.

The Liberal Democrats are projected to make substantial gains and reclaim their position as the third-largest party in the Commons, thanks in part to leader Ed Davey's unique approach on the campaign trail.

Meanwhile, the SNP is expected to suffer significant losses following a turbulent period for the Scottish separatist party. Green Party co-leader Carla Denyer may win a new seat in Bristol Central, garnering votes from left-wing voters disheartened by Starmer's "purge" of leftist candidates.
