Windsor officers honoured with bravery medals for 2011 rescue

Two Windsor police constables have been honoured with Medals of Bravery in Ottawa Tuesday.

Constables Sean Rogan and Charles Sasso rescued an injured man from a burning vehicle in September 2011.

The crash left the vehicle on its side, with the driver dangling precariously.

The officers reached into the damaged car and managed to remove the driver through the sunroof.

Governor General David Johnston will present the medals at Rideau Hall.
