Woman has date in court after arrest

A 41-year-old Thunder Bay woman was charged with impaired driving on Friday night after a pickup truck was stopped for speeding on the city’s outskirts.
Provincial police said officers patrolling on Highway 11-17 caught up with the accused around 10:30 p.m.
The pickup’s driver was arrested and charged with operation with a blood-alcohol reading of more than 80 milligrams, a provincial news release said on Monday.
Jessica McLaughlin is to appear in Thunder Bay court on July 10, the release said. The charge against her has not been proven in court.
