Wray places first at Baldonnel time trial
Windy conditions welcomed the eight riders participating in Blizzard Bicycle Club’s time trial in Baldonnel on April 21st.
Nigel Wray won the time trial after a gruelling 25-kilometre ride, with a time of 37:51.
Dan Webster finished in second place at 49:01, and Calvin McCracken crossed the finish line in third with a time of 49:39.
Meanwhile, Heather McCracken was the top female, finishing at 52:09.
Wray’s latest victory continues his strong start to the season. He won all six stages of the club’s 2024 Spring Stage Series.
He also placed first on the Baldonnel circuit last Thursday, April 18th, with a time of 23:53.
Blizzard’s next event will be a time trial, split between eight and 16 kilometres at the Baldonnel School on April 25th beginning at 6:30 p.m.
