Yet another blanket of snow for Saskatchewan

The calendar says spring, but a glance outside your front window this morning might convince you otherwise.

Regina, Saskatoon and other communities in the south woke up to a fresh blanket of snow this morning.

With temperatures hovering around the 0 C mark, several centimetres of the white stuff fell on a wide area of the province overnight.

The forecast calls for between two and four centimetres by the time the snow tapers off later today.

Highways are drivable, but there's swirling snow on the Trans-Canada, Highway 11 and other major routes.

Conditions can change rapidly, so people heading out onto the roads should check the Highway Hotline.

For city commuters, slippery conditions could add extra minutes to the drive. Getting the snow off your vehicle and shovelling your walk could delay things, as well.
