YouTuber Shane Dawson and Husband Ryland Adams Welcome Twin Sons via Surrogate: 'Unbelievably Grateful'

The couple, who tied the knot in January, revealed that they were expecting twin boys in July

Shane Dawson and husband Ryland Adams are new parents!

The YouTube stars announced the arrival of twin sons Jet Parker Adams Yaw and Max Chandler Adams Yaw via surrogate on Dec. 7 in a heartwarming post on Sunday.

The pair said in the joint post that they “are so unbelievably grateful” to finally have their boys here as they posted photos of the newborns in hospital.

“There’s no words to express how it feels to be the fathers of these two beautiful boys,” Dawson and Adams wrote in the caption. “The best day of our entire lives and nothing else will ever compare.”

“We probably won’t be showing much of them in the future but because many of you have been on the journey with us we felt it was right to show the destination,” they continued. “We are so unbelievably grateful. Thank you for the love and support during this entire process.”

“We can’t wait for all the moments that are on the way. Cherishing every single one. - Shane and Ryland❤️,” the couple signed off.

In the first photo shared, the pair smiled while holding their sons in hospital as the newborns sported matching beanies.

A second snap showed Dawson in scrubs gazing at one of his sons as he held him in the hospital. Another adorable image saw the newborns sleeping next to each other while wrapped in blankets in a hospital crib.

The carousel also included photos of Adams feeding one of their sons a bottle and him taking a nap along with the siblings.

A final photo showed Dawson and Adams holding their boys in baby carriers in an elevator as they made their way out of the hospital and back home.

The couple’s confirmed they were expecting twin boys via surrogate in July.

The pair — who got married in January — revealed the news in a 17-minute vlog posted on Adams’ YouTube channel. They documented their surrogacy journey and the moment they found out they would be having twins.

At the beginning of the video, Dawson and Adams revealed that they discovered their surrogate was pregnant on April 22. The vlog then followed the pair on their travels to Seattle, Washington, for the six-week scan — which had been delayed by a week to enable them to attend.

“This is the craziest experience of my whole life,” Dawson said of the trip in the July video. “This is a moment that we’ve been waiting for forever and I can’t believe it's happening!”

“So…its twins! Oh my god, that was such a surreal experience,” a joyful Adams announced in the clip. In a touching moment earlier in the vlog, Dawson added that he’d had a dream “where I met our two baby boys.”
