Zendaya Glitters in Green at Australian Premiere of “Challengers”: See Her Head-Turning Look
The actress attended the movie premiere of her film Challengers in Australia on Tuesday local time
Zendaya had haters green with envy on Tuesday, as she attended the premiere of her film Challengers in Sydney, Australia.
The 27-year-old actress dazzled in glamor, as she sported a custom Loewe glittery green gown by Jonathan Anderson.
Video of the radiant former Disney star posing for photographers on the red carpet was shared by her stylist, Law Roach, in a Instagram Story.
The dress featured a cut-out in the back, as well as a deep V-neckline. Paying homage to her Challengers character Tashi — a tennis player turned coach — Zendaya’s gown featured an elegant print of a figure holding up a tennis racket.

Zendaya’s dress also contained a high thigh split. She paired the look with matching stiletto heels, while her hair was styled in a glamorous updo that showed off her dangling earrings.
Displaying a bright smile, the Euphoria star appeared to be in great spirits as she posed alongside her co-stars Mike Faist, 32, and Josh O'Connor, 33.
Faist, known for playing the leader of the Jets in Steven Spielberg’s 2021 remake of West Side Story, wore an unbuttoned white shirt under a black suit. He finished the look with matching black shoes. Meanwhile, O'Conner — a British actor best known for his portrayal of Prince Charles in The Crown on Netflix — sported a brown three-piece tux, which he wore without a shirt.
Challengers, according to an official film synopsis, follows an intense love triangle entangling "three players who knew each other when they were teenagers as they compete in a tennis tournament to be the world-famous grand slam winner." The experience "reignites old rivalries on and off the court.”
Zendaya's character is the player at the center of it all. She's married to a champion on a losing streak (Faist), who must compete against a washed-up player (O’Connor) who also happens to be his former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend.
Directed by Luca Guadagnino, who worked with Zendaya's Dune costar Timothée Chalamet in 2017's Call Me by Your Name, the film hits theaters on April. 26, 2024.

The Challengers Australian premiere comes after Zendaya had a tennis date at the finals of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California with her boyfriend Tom Holland, 27, earlier this month.
Linking to the tennis theme of Challengers, Zendaya sported a white tennis skirt with a vest and hooded sweater.
Back in February, Holland shared a trailer for his girlfriend's film on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, writing, "You ain't ready for this one!"
